Honestly I don't even know where to begin maybe with the *** car salesman and that lied to me and told me I would have an easy loan process told me I shouldn't have anything to worry about when I left the car lot with their car traded in my car honestly I feel like I was lied to I have done nothing but send over the right documents and even attempted to send over documents that I hope it would work to approve me for a loan for the vehicle that they got me in not to mention I traded in my 2003 Chevy trailblazer mint condition brand new front end still running really hardly any problems just wanted to update on vehicles wanted a better vehicle that had a walkway that way my children weren't climbing over seats to get in they got me into a 2016 Buick enclave and I even gave them correct pay stubs my house ended up having two quarantine due to covid-19 now I'm struggling with the after effects of covid-19 and they're still asking me for another pay stub when I don't have one to give due to me being in a quarantine zone until the 14th of December won't have my first back to work paycheck until next Friday and even then it's going to be short due to me having complications with my lungs from covid-19 my child gave it to me during our quarantine which put me out of work until the 14th with that being said they keep requesting for more documentation even though I've sent them all the documents I have I need to know what I can do about possibly getting my vehicle back or getting a refund for the vehicle that I traded in as soon as possible as I cannot be left without a vehicle due to having four small children and needing a reliable transportation I'm at my wit's end with this car company they are the worst ever car dealership that I've ever been to I feel like I'm being scammed out of money I'm already going through a financial bind now because of covid-19 and this stupid pandemic not to mention I feel like the financial Manager RON of Warsaw Indiana and fort Wayne is very unprofessional with his job as he informed me that grody automotive terminated a salesperson and that got me into the Buick enclave and even gave me a reason why she had left the company due to her poor work ethic with that being said I need to know what I can do as soon as possible about either keeping this vehicle or possibly getting a refund or possibly even getting my trailblazer back as I am very very unsatisfied with their service grote automotive is the WORST COMPANY THAT ANYBODY CAN GO THROUGH AND IF I HAD TO GIVE ANY TYPE OF STAR RATING TO THIS COMPANY I WOULDN'T GIVE THEM NONE AS THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT PUT ME IN A POSITION THAT I HONESTLY HATE THE MOST I FEEL LIKE I'M LIVING MY WORST NIGHTMARE AND HONESTLY IF NOTHING GETS DONE ABOUT THIS I WILL HIRE AN ATTORNEY OR LAWYER IF NEED BE JUST SO I KNOW I HAVE A FIGHTING CHANCE I FREAKING HATE THE FACT THAT THIS CAR COMPANY SCAMS PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR CARS IT'S NO WONDER WHY THEY HAVE SO MANY CARS BECAUSE THEY SCAM PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR CARS PUT THEM IN A CAR MAKING THEM THINK THAT THEY'RE GOING TO BE APPROVED OR HAVE ALREADY BEEN APPROVED AND THEN WHEN YOU SIGN PAPERS THEY TELL YOU YOU HAVE A BUNCH OF DOCUMENTS THAT YOU HAVE TO SEND IN THEN WHEN YOU SEND THEM IN THEY ASK FOR THOSE DOCUMENTS OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER WORST CAR COMPANY I COULD EVER GO THROUGH I WOULD MUCH RATHER GET BACK INTO MY VEHICLE THAT I TRADED IN I HATE THE FACT THAT I'M BEING PUT THROUGH *** KNOWING WHAT I KNOW NOW I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMY TO GO TO THIS CAR DEALERSHIP AS THEY ARE HORRIBLE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND LIE TO YOU DID I MENTION THAT ON THEIR WEBSITE IT STATES THAT YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO AN EASY LOAN PROCESS DID I ALSO MENTION THAT IT HASN'T REALLY BEEN THAT EASY FOR ME OR MY SPOUSE EVERY EMPLOYEE AT THIS FACILITY THAT I WENT TO SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES FOR SCAMMING PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR CARS OR MONEY I REALLY HONESTLY CAN'T STAND LIARS AND DECEIVERS AND I'LL BE DAMNED IF I LET THEIR CAR GO BACK WITHOUT ME GETTING MINE BACK OR REFUND BY THE WAY IF ANYBODY HAS ANY TIPS ON HOW I CAN SUE THIS COMPANY FOR THEIR UNPROFESSIONAL WORK PLEASE CONTACT ME MY CONTACT INFORMATION IS MY DIRECT CELL PHONE NUMBER WHICH IS 574-870-**** I NEED SOME LEGAL ADVICE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE my last and final words about this place is they suck they scam you they lie to you they're unprofessional theyre very overpriced on their cars and wanna low ball you on your trade INS they're not worth the drive nor the time I hate the fact that I have to deal with this company I honestly wish I could just get a refund or get my car I traded in back

A refund of $1,500 as that's what it's costing me to pay for the vehicle I was put in and insurance or my trade in back.

I thought loud blasting TV commercials were over once American Freight got the message and pulled their detestable earsplitters.

Now Grote Automotive is breaking eardrums in the South Bend and Mishawaka, Indiana area with their shouting Santa versions.

Who in their right mind thinks that this is the way to attract new customers? It defies logic. Time to hit the mute and forget Grote!

They tried selling me something I didn't want nor could I qualify for that much money .never said or told me how much the truck cost . Yes my credit socks.

But 5 companies later I didn't qualify da. I told them 20000 not 35000 .

I went in to buy a Ford Escape. Singed papers was thinking everything was going good but then was told it had to have some work done.

I was told it would take 4 days. Well it has been about to weeks.

The person that sold me the suv never stayed in touch with me. Don't buy there.

I called them checking on vehicles. They called me back 1 month later advising me that they had 4 loan companies willing to help me buy a vehicle.

Begging me to come down. I drove down there, which was about 1 1/2 hours away from where I live and once there, they said I would have to have a co-signer (which they didn't mention on the phone) and the sales person proceeded to lecture me on how I need to use my money on bills and such and not on a vehicle. That is after making me wait for over 1/2 hour. Such a lack of professionalism.

The pictures of the vehicles did NOT match the actual vehicles they had on the lot. This place is a joke as much as those stupid irritating commercials that you see constantly on TV!

I would never buy a car from those people, at any price! They are yelling at you, even before you buy a car.

I can only imagine what they would do if you had an issue with them.

Can't talk normal, makes me cringe every time I see their commercial, I turn the channel immediately. Buy from a dealer that doesn't blast you !!!!!

After talking to phone person for a solid week and being told you have over 40 different banks to get me approved. 3k more than my carb is worth..blah blah blah.

My wife and I drove 90min..one way to your dealership and got maybe 15min of your dealerships time. Obviously we got there late and it was obvious that we were keeping people and weren't worth any effort by either the salesman or the manager. I sold cars at a major Honda dealership. I only wish I had so many banks to get people approved.

We were offered 1 car..ONE. MY 20YR OLD CADILLAC WAS IN BETTER SHAPE! LIES LIES LIES.

Thank you for a complete waste of time. At least I was honest for the entire week prior to going down..and I have ALL THOSE TEXTS TO BACK IT UP.

My husband and I went to Grote "just to look" and ended up purchasing a completely different vehicle than originally were looking at. The staff was great in Warsaw...

However... Isn't there always a however? However, I have not received what I was promised, nor is the car equipped as promised. I would give Grote an easy five until papers are signed then they do not give a $$$$ about you.

They get a VERY DISAPPOINTING negative ten after the sale. Poor follow up on promises and just poor follow up from supposable managers.

The call center tells you one thing and then find its all a lie when you get there. Tried to sell a used vehicle 2 times book value.

Wanted $1000 down and very high payment. Will never trust them.

Besides all 4 tires being different makes and different low tread on each, (Grote service guys told me it was the road causing the bad driving/steering), the compressor is shot and has to be replaced, the brakes are grinding and squealing and have to be replaced, there is a LOUD teeth-jarring CLUNK which randomly happens, you can't drive over 63 on the freeway because of a very loud fluttering noise. My brother drove it and said, you got screwed - get rid of this thing.

It's a danger to drive this car. Thanks for NOTHING Grote.

Scammed my 87 year old mother in-law. Committed fraud by falsifying her income on the application to the financial institution.

Then when we caught them promised to take the loan back and settle with a car for her and then pulled a bait and switch on her. This company is discusting.

Don't know how they sleep at night. Please don't buy from them #fraudthepeople
